‘Mindfulness for Peace of Mind’ - my first self-published book!

It has been a long held dream of mine to write and illustrate my own book, and it has taken me over a year from idea to print to complete. A perfect project for me where I could combine my background in editorial and children’s book illustration with my training in psychology.

The inspiration for this book came from coaching my clients who were struggling with ‘what iffing’ the future or dwelling on past mistakes. I wanted to create something beautiful instead of another handout or instant download for them. Something that would be more uplifting and joyful.

The book is designed to combine words and images to help people learn quickly and retain information easier. Ideal to come back to often, refreshing your memory and creating an instant sense of calm.

It focuses on what mindfulness is, its benefits to you and how to bring mindfulness into everyday life.

I personally have found mindfullness to be very useful and use it as one of my self-care tools in my wellbeing toolkit. It can be used in any place, at any time and noone will know that you are doing it.
